FlyingOx Gallery - Abraham & Julia Gelbart opened a fine art gallery
in the famous art district of Canyon Road in Santa Fe, New Mexico
on October 25, 2002. On November 19, 2002 a fire broke out in the
adjacent galleries destroying works in those galleries as well as
the FlyingOx and destroyed most of the fifty works of art by Abraham
Gelbart. The gallery is in a state of uncertainty because the building
needs major reconstruction. If another space becomes available,
the FlyingOx would be glad to find a new home. Meanwhile,
Abraham has a good studio space, where fortunately other artwork
was stored. The focus is now to create another body of work.
