It occurred to me as I was photographing the famous San Francisco de Asis Mission Church in Ranchos de Taos New Mexico that the overall shape of the building reminded me of the Egyptian Sphinx statue, half lion half man.

I then proceeded to change the configuration in keeping with the theme of other images for example in the PanChairMan series.
